In 2005, Dr. Erica Meyers-Rivera founded Lines of Excellence Consulting (LOEC) as a solution to challenges in the workplace in the areas of interpersonal relations and team communication. The mission of Lines of Excellence Consulting is to support creative and innovative professionals and industries in the quest for motivation, ultimate performance, and product success.  With this goal, LOEC uses their understanding of global business grounded in the knowledge of challenges in innovation, luxury goods markets, global competition, and cultural approaches to business as the main objectives in overcoming current and future challenges to success.

Erica is highly regarded for her work as an assessment specialist, having completed thousands of personality assessments and made recommendations for executive development, hiring, succession planning and team building.  She is known for identifying how to develop individual strengths of employees and utilizing that information to improve both managerial and team effectiveness.  Erica feels strongly about focusing on team development using interpersonal expertise and strengths to maximize relationships in bringing people together to make things happen.

As Principal Consultant, Erica centers on enhancing leadership by developing the individual personal strengths of professionals. Having worked with employees of large and small corporations, as well as entrepreneurs, Erica is exceptionally competent at personality assessment and analysis of work environment behavior and has keen insight into understanding how one’s personal skills and assets contribute to personal and financial success. In addition, having excelled in the fast-paced corporate environments of public relations, the entertainment industry, and finance, Erica fully understands the importance of taking initiative and being keenly team and goal oriented. In her opinion, doing excellent work is only half the battle; an essential element of one’s skill set needs to include the ability to communicate ideas in ways that people can truly relate. Only then can a leader be effective at creating opportunities for achievement and development.

Erica often collaborates with a variety of consultants and consulting firms to deliver all-encompassing workshops and seminars. She uses an array of assessment tools and relies on published data to enhance the validity and ROI (return on investment) of her work. Additionally, she draws upon her business networks to serve the explicit needs of her Corporate and Executive Coaching clients.

Erica is a graduate of The American University in Washington, DC where she received her undergraduate degree in International Business & Marketing. She currently holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California as well as both a Master’s Degree and Doctorate degree in Psychology from Long Island University. She is a member of The American Psychological Association (Division 13/Consulting Psychologists), METRO New York Association of Applied Psychology, and the Society for Organizational Psychology.
